Super hotel! If you want to relax, then in the fiery tatzelwurm! The food was delicious, the bathing area was great and the view was amazing!

A very nice house in a wonderful area and very good kitchen! A dream for people who have no comparison, but if you have already seen and tested more in this area, the price / performance ratio does not really fit here! It is rather difficult to keep up with the local competition from Austria!

Look, ambience, decoration - everything is wonderful. Room furnishings stylish and cozy. Friendliness in the restaurant was very good! Unfortunately the service was only satisfactory. We were brought to the table at dinner. After that we had to wait about 10 minutes until someone even took the order! (on both evenings!) The food was average but not up to the 4 * standard. The walls in the room were dirty. Many furnishings are worn out / showing their age. Overall, it does not meet the expectations of a hotel of this category. When criticizing in the restaurant as well as at the reception, the reactions were disappointingly indifferent - very unprofessional! Conclusion: price-performance not met.

Unfortunately, we were only passing through, but I'm sure that I'll be on vacation here one day. I fell in love with the facility and the atmosphere up here at first sight! If you cannot switch off in this calm, it is your own fault ...

It cannot really be described how beautiful it is here, the entire staff under the management of the Kiesel family is more than friendly, everything is very well-kept and clean. The property itself is awesome, since all the buildings that you see from the outside are connected underground, you have to experience it because you can't describe it with words. In addition, there is the location in the mountains with the beautiful waterfall, so if you are not satisfied here you cannot help. I spent 4 wonderful days here as part of a wedding and even if I live 715 km away, I was definitely not there for the last time. Highly Recommended!

Beautiful location, well-developed hotel over the years, in which I have stayed and vacationed several times, even when you were warmly welcomed there. For me, however, it was the last visit, because what is the use of the most beautiful hotel if the friendliness and joy of the guest has fallen by the wayside over the years, be it with the boss herself or with the stupidly arrogant (male) or listlessly looking away (Female) service in the restaurant - by the way, also on weekdays when it is not so busy. The excellent cuisine has remained.

OK for coffee and cake in transit. The waitresses are hard-working and friendly. After years, the ambience has now changed from cozy / local to noble. That is of course a matter of taste and not mine, but that should not affect the rating. A really modern and luxuriously furnished hotel / restaurant. The view, the surrounding nature and the waterfalls are of course gigantic. You should definitely make a stop here, visit waterfalls (5min walk) and take a short break at the view in the restaurant. Nice bar. Accommodation possible. Wellness available The food and drink here is grossly overpriced in my opinion, for the fact that it is definitely not handmade. However, the food is really well presented and tastes OK. The crux of the matter is the price performance. These are ready-made products or goods that can be cooked quickly. The only thing that is wrong here is the relationship. 16 euros for a schnitzel Viennese style, which is a ready-made schnitzel, 3.10 for a 0.2 water, 14 euros for a salad with chicken consisting of ready-made potato salad and breaded pressed meat turkey schnitzel is not justified. Here you should concentrate on one direction. Very good handmade quality at high price or adjust prices of quality. I am definitely aware that the location and the route demand their price and that a profit wants to be made. But a schnitzel with french fries is also cheaper. Of course, everyone understands prices of say 10-12. Anyone who expects to eat at pub prices at such a location on vacation naturally also thinks unrealistic. But I think everyone understands what I mean here.

The spa and fitness area was great !!!! The staff on average friendly. But the breakfast is very expandable! For 12 days only the same sausage, no change whatsoever and then clapped so lovelessly under all the cannon! The juice dispenser is basically empty every other day, the staff has always drawn attention to it, but nobody felt responsible for it! Food and drinks outrageously expensive, totally excessive! WLAN is almost never possible! So for four stars there is still a lot of room for improvement!

We were drawn to the hotel spontaneously, the ambience and the view make an impression and it's really nice. The wellness area is also very, very nice. Unfortunately the water in the pool is pretty cool. Only the "a la care" option is recommended for dinner. When eating half-board, there is unfortunately a slight disillusionment. The breakfast did not live up to our expectations at all and resulted in disappointment. Juice concentrate, carelessly stacked sausage and cheese platters, baked rolls, staff which sometimes did not even begin to observe the hygiene rules when opening the sausage products. The gentleman also had no work clothes, so maybe. even the boss? The other staff is nice and friendly and adheres to the rules together with the guests. It's a shame that the overall impression is relatively poor. You are used to something else, especially in the price segment. The rooms are clean and tidy and really tasteful.

Wonderful ambience. Room and food great. Service not the fastest but very friendly. Wellness area nice and clean. To be highlighted is the quiet relaxation area with a sandy beach and loungers and a view of the mountains. We would have liked it better if the coffee had been served at the table at breakfast. That would have avoided unnecessary queues at the coffee machine. Otherwise breakfast was great.

Usually you are served nice and quickly. But this afternoon the waiter was more busy with the two young women at the next table than taking care of the other guests. You had to wait a long time for ordered items, even though it wasn't busy.

Very nice wellness hotel, hidden in the mountain, far from everyday stress. The location is unique. Pure nature and the sound of the waterfalls ... simply beautiful. The wellness area is very inviting, there is something for everyone, whether sunbathing in the sand or relaxing by the lake, as well as swimming in the river after a sauna session. The rooms were very modern and very comfortable even in the simplest category. Also very large with a lot of space. The food was very tasty! Unfortunately, the service in the restaurant is very different and the coordination quite chaotic. This often causes unrest in the evening. Junior boss Sandra does a great job and is extremely hardworking and attentive. There are some flaws with the rest ... Why 4 and not 5 stars? The hotel's own lake looks great and there are nice places to relax, but the water temperature is underground cold. And we were there at the beginning of August with 7 days of 30 degrees a day and it absolutely does not heat up. A shame .. even the stream / the water of the waterfalls was warmer ... That was disappointing and unimaginable. Above all, the lake is max. 2m deep .. I would recommend the hotel and go there again myself.

We stayed for 3 days in the Hotel Feuriger Tazlwurm including breakfast as a couple. And we were welcomed very nicely, there are plenty of parking spaces, Wheelchair accessible with elevator and ramps, The check-in and check-out It was very quick and everything was explained to us, we were allowed to go to our room 1 hour earlier than agreed. We had a clean, tidy room with a large smoking balcony and a very nice view of the property and the mountains. All areas of the property such as the restaurant, kite spa, reception, bar, sauna area, etc. are connected underground. We had food à la carte (so that we can choose what we want to eat) and it was really great, we both rarely ate so well (price performance = very good) as well as the staff that were very courteous and friendly throughout the area was. Those who book the GenussPlus package (i.e. with a four-course menu in the evening) should know that these were mostly very healthy dishes / vegetables, who would prefer hearty home-style food in the evening, as we should only book with breakfast. The spa area is very clean and we could use everything without waiting. The pool was a bit too cold for me, (but no minus point) For hiking: the two waterfalls are 10 min. away from the hotel, and really worth seeing. We took a 2.5 hour ascent to the Brühnsteinhaus, we recommend taking the red tour for the ascent and the blue tour for the descent. Less suitable for small children. All in all, we felt very well looked after, are very satisfied and would be happy to come back Kind regards

I had the great pleasure of celebrating my friends wedding at this beautiful hotel! It was a pleasure for body, mind and soul! The rooms were beautifully decorated, the food was wonderful, the service was first class and courteous despite the mask, friendly and loving! The bosses and their son personally took care of the smooth running and the guests! Big compliment - all guests and the wedding couple were very satisfied!

Nice hotel with a great spa and cute spacious rooms. Amazing staff! Very very friendly! Good restaurant with a large wine selection. We were traveling with our dog and felt very welcome!

Rating based on a wedding visit: Very nicely decorated, harmonious ambience. The service was good and attentive, the food flawless. The only point of criticism concerns the unfavorable location of the toilets. The celebrations took place in an annex, but the toilets were in the main building, so you had to change the building every time. In the rain or snow certainly more cumbersome, luckily we had acceptable weather.

Great location. Nice Bavarian Dragon-Themed Hotel close to the Austrian boarder. 30 minutes to Rosenheim and about 90 minutes to Munich. Recommendable for couples, families and business travelers. Friendly service and nice rooms. Very clean and sound. They have a big fitness area. Even with a boxing ring. Ready to blow of sole steam? Next to it is a nice Spa area with swimming pools and sauna. The possibilities for outside activities are unlimited. Welcome nature. The only “little” offside is the food which was not as good as expected. But still okay. And please don’t serve this orange juice out of the fountain which is equal to the stuff that they served in Spanish hotels in the 90’s.

I didn’t stay there but did stop for lunch and have a look around. Beautiful hotel, great location with amazing views. Food and service were excellent and what I saw of the hotel facilities was really impressed. Hoping to go back and stay one day.

Still my favourite hotel because of their great rooms and wonderful amenities!

Perfect hotel and staff!

A wellness hotel located in the middle of a mountain path from Bayern Oberdorf to Bavaria. The view and location are very amazing. The restaurant is not bad either. The hotel has good facilities such as spa and sauna gym!

Nice place for a weekend away, nestled at what appears to almost be the end of the street, depending on which direction you come from. The place is huge and there is a little spot for food or drinks in just about every corner of this location. Bar is well stocked with lots of the basics as well as a great whiskey selection.

We celebrated our wedding here. The view is fabulous. And the surrounding is extra ordinary. The food was great. Rooms very nice. Sauna, relaxing and pool. Perfect service and honest staff. Would really recommend this place for big partys. But also for a romantic weekend for two.

This hotel is spectacular and I loved my room the sauna and swimming pool, luckily I wasn't paying for the food which was expensive but the service was great. The breakfast was the only let down. Queing at a one cup coffee machine and waiting for an unfriendly cook to make an omelette was totally unacceptable, and that is why I give only four stars.

Great food for correct money. Perfect service.

A very Quiet and relaxing Stay. Although the Wellness Area is not very big it is built and decorated very nice. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Dinner was very good as well. If you keep in mind it is a small place it is totally recommended to stay here for a few very relaxing days - or for relaxing evenings after wintersport days closeby.

I was there for lunch and very much enjoyed it. The location and view from the terrace is great. The service was a bit slow, but made up for it with good service. Food was great, I had the best bacon ever!
